We had a family movie night last weekend. We made Halloween cake with pumpkin and bat sprinkles, movie popcorn and watched Monsters vs Aliens in 3D.
The craziest, funnest part was NOT Rhett comfortably wrapped in a Snuggie wearing 3D glasses
but a part of the movie that had us rewind it a few times.
In the scene where the monsters are partying with Susan's family in the backyard,
the Missing Link guy presses play on the boombox and there,
next to the closeup of his finger as the brand name of the machine,
is OUR LAST NAME!!
On top of that, the movie is set in Rhett's hometown of Modesto, CA.
He actually lived in Newman, but it's in the same area.
He thinks he must have made a big impact on someone
but I figure it's just an awesome coincidence.
How weird is that??

PS One of my students gave me the Snuggie,
otherwise I would have gotten the zebra print one.
