Birthdays and New Births

It was Spencer's 3rd birthday, so we were invited to the Kangaroo Zoo.  

(Spencer is my oldest brother Garry's son). 

Once again, it was a successful birthday party.  

Even my dad showed up, 

using a cane, 

making us all 

laugh and marvel

 at his miraculous recovery, 

almost like a new birth itself.  

Then, later, I had to fight with Cam to leave Spencer's house because it was past his bedtime.

Spencer, Jerome (my other brother Pete's son) 

and Cam had been hanging out the whole afternoon.  

These three little musketeers always have a good time together!
