So remember that one time when you were in college and you lived out of your car? You had like all your school work, books, breakfast, lunch, makeup, school clothes, work clothes, MTC visor, shoes for walking on campus, shoes for meeting the hottie at his place after class, extra chapstick and lotion, magazines for downtimes at the stoplights, maybe even a pillow or a few dvds or your acoustic guitar for sensitive, melancholy quad jams ALL IN YOUR CAR? And then, when you got out of college you were so excited to be all neat and organized and not need to take so much with you in your car and to just live at HOME?
And THEN, you had two kids and you needed toys just for the drive, extra diapers, toddler and infant snacks, books for the car, separate toys and books for the possibility of a tantrum in a store, purse, diaper bag, wallet, extra clothes for potty accidents, a can of formula just in case you forgot one at home, the baby Bjorn for those times when you might be come across a convention or a great discount store, backup binkies, your own makeup and extra clothes for spitups or leaky diapers, stroller, blankets, extra pair of shoes for everybody in case of mud or snow and all the other stuff that would instigate a natural DISASTER if you didn't bring with you??
Oh, was that just me?
Maybe this is what I really should want for Christmas....

That is too funny. I totally feel the same way. No matter how big my diaper bag is, it always need to have just a little more room in it.
As they get older the more stuff you need to drag along. Not to mention having 2. good luck.
why? why do you do this?
i still remember having to move huge piles of "stuff" so that i could fit in your car.
remember how the jetta would have that smell because it leaked when it rained?
i am coming home tomorrow!
The only problem with that gift, is you would need 3 of them to hold it all!
As I read this, I was thinking about my car and how it sounds EXACTLY the same!
my car is the same and i don't even have kids! What is going to happen when i do have kids?? I am doomed!
