For anyone who knows my dad, you know that he has a bit of a compulsion when it comes to buying things, especially things that are completely unnecessary. Take for instance the ten pink and purple stuffed babies that he bought a few years ago from a store that "had a great sale." It doesn't matter if the things are needed or functional, if they are on sale, he has to buy them. And not just one. Oh, no! You wouldn't feel like you were getting a deal if you bought just one. He bought ten or twelve of them. So, he had to find something to do with these baby dolls and decided to give one to each of the grandkids for Easter. Hey, they're pink and purple so they must be perfect for Easter gifts, right? Each kid (including the boys) got to pick out a purple or pink baby and because there was one left over, Cam got purple AND pink. Very silly and unneccesary, right?
Well, Cameron got a lot of use out of these babies when I was pregnant with Brenden. We did everything we could to educationally prepare him for the baby that was going to invade our house. We talked about babies, pointed out every baby on tv, in books and on the street, talked about what babies do and even encouraged him to take care of a baby. So he decided that he wanted to take care of the purple baby. He carried it around the house, wanted to take it everywhere, slept with it and even treated it like it was one of the family. I do have to say that it was a pretty smooth transition bringing Brenden home, and now he shares his babies with Bren and still carries them around the house, sleeps with them, and wants to take them everywhere. I think he will be a compassionate, loving father someday. All thanks to Papa and his compulsive spending...

Those are some darn cute boys you have there. They look especially cute with big stuffed babies on their laps.
I like your dad. that is so awesome. See it got put to good use? Brenden is getting so big already. Tell me more about the online scrapbooking? How expensive is it and stuff? Which site do you go through? I have tried picaboo, and it is not my fav, not enough embellishments.
